Roberta Arnone - attorney advertising -
Roberta Arnone began her career in banking at eighteen years old. Her first job during college was a bank teller where she completed an intensive Teller Training Program that prepared her for fraud prevention, anti-theft strategies and information security. Roberta declared Economics as her major in college and worked part-time as a Customer Service Representative "on the platform" of the East River Savings Bank branch on Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream, New York. Ms. Arnone was responsible for training depositors on how to use "the new" Automated Teller Machines in the early '80's. During law school, Roberta assisted one of her professors with the completion of an article involving Lender Liability Law and after law school, accepted a position with Chemical Bank's Early Fraud Warning department of credit card security. There, Ms. Arnone was entrusted to monitor and protect consumer credit cards including those of high net worth individuals and discovered a common merchant among victims of counterfeit cards that led to the source of a significant merchant fraud operation (by the merchant's employees). For her efforts, Ms. Arnone was inducted into the bank's "Million Dollar Club" for saving the bank over a million dollars of potential fraud activity. Thereafter, Ms. Arnone worked on secured transactions, residential and commercial real estate closings and top-tier construction lending projects for nearly a decade. Because Roberta has worked in-house for various lenders for twenty years, she thinks like a banker, holds the right instincts and has a trained eye when reviewing loan documents. |
